Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in health and wellness but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with James Douglas Jr., Founder of Mindful ADHD, located in Wellington, FL, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

I provide ADHD coaching for youth, teens, adults, parents, and couples.

Tell us about yourself

I first started the direction of coaching when I was doing therapy for youth, teens, and families, and I noticed many people in the state I do therapy are struggling with managing ADHD and feeling supported. So I started coaching to help people all around the world vs. just in my state for counseling. I live with ADHD, and I am motivated and passionate about providing the support necessary for individuals living with ADHD and their loved ones.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Starting this from scratching and managing to get the word out to be able to help others increase knowledge, confidence, and skills

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

For me, it would be getting the word out and marketing my services so that I can reach more individuals and families.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. It would be to continue to make small steps in the right direction. Start with tiny habits.
  2. Don’t give up.
  3. Go with your gut feeling, and do not hold back.

Where can people find you and your business?
